Here is my second Caravan Blog for what we did in social class.
We have continued playing our game in getting dirhams and cards today, and Mr. R gave us a whole bunch of projects to be completed at the end of this unit such as the banner. This is our current standing in the race to get to Makkah.
Spots moved: 4
Place: 2nd spot
Dirhams earned: 49 Total: 77

Five interesting things that I learned today are:
1) Algebra was first invented by Arabs
2) Arabs introduced the guitar to the western civilization
3) The prophet Mohamed got his first revelation at the age of 40
4) “Bazar” is the Arab word for shopping mall
5) Eating pork is against their religion because they think pigs are dirty creatures

Hey Dominick,
I have read that book 1001 Nights… it’s very good. I ecspecially like Aladdin. Have you seen the movie? Check out the Youtube video on my page (I have the link on my page), the singer sings both the parts of Jasmine and Aladdin. It’s amazing.
I don’t have time to re read Aladdin today, but I will probably do so this weekend.
Woops, I left the comment on the wrong post! Sorry!
Wow..I forgot all about the “This Week In Class” assignment. Humanities was kind of strange with the subtitutes and class work we’ve never experienced before. Was this HW assignment assigned to us? Well..I’ll do it anyways.
